Those Days of Past

Smile is spreading from my face
as I walk in the day of present.
There is no trace of regret,
just wonderful memories and a lot of learning.

Life is so precious as it seems —
every good and bad thing,
every smile I spread and every tear I shed,
every joy I lived with and every sorrow that crumbled my heart.
All of it does not matter now,
everything is just amazing memory —
a pleasure adventure had it been,
a priceless collection it has been.

Floating on the tide of time,
there never were steady comforts,
never were just the days of pain;
it had been a great mixture of events.

May not have been the man I wanted to be,
may not have conquered the dreams I lived by,
may have been a failure in the world's eye,
but again, satisfaction inside my heart,
the calmness that I am experiencing —
what a pleasure adventure had it been,
a priceless collection it has been.
